Dan is the founder of Project and Quality Management Associates.  A CMMI Institute certified SCAMPI B/C Team Lead and certified SAFe Program Consultant, he has over 15 years of Process Improvement experience working with commercial and DoD customers in aerospace, finance, telecommunications, and information technology.  He specializes in implementing Project Management, Quality Assurance, Measurement, and Engineering Improvement Programs.

Joe joined PQMA in 2010 after completing a 37 year career working for the Department of the Navy.  Joe possesses a degree in Business Administration from Mesa College, San Diego. Some of his achievements include:

» Implemented CMMI across 12 diverse research/development and engineering projects encompassing 700 technical staff, managing a Multi-million dollar annual budget, and directed and mentored a staff of 24 government and contractor personnel providing process improvement
» Over 30 years of Process Development and Deployment experience for US Navy Engineering, Aviation Support and Logistics agencies
» CMMI Team Member on over 25 SCAMPI A/B/C appraisals for Maturity Level 2 and 3 (CMMI-DEV)

Fred is a CMMI Institute Certified Instructor, teaching “Introduction to CMMI” for both Development and Services. He also holds an ITIL Foundation certification and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. Fred received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport. Fred is a Process Improvement Architect and Engineer with over 35 years of experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. He has worked in all the major software development roles as well as a variety of service roles. His experience includes:

» Quality management, software development, network infrastructure implementation & management, and business process management
» Industry experience in the government and defense sectors as well as experience in commercial industries such as web technology, telecommunications, healthcare, retail, nuclear power systems, and process control systems manufacturing
» A variety of quality models and tools including CMMI, ITIL, Six Sigma, ISO9000, and TL 9000

Steve joined PQMA in 2011 after retiring from Boeing as the Software Engineering Process Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Mesa, AZ. His career spans more than 32 years in software development and process improvement and deployment. Highlights of his career include:

» Developing, implementing and institutionalizing process improvement programs in Fortune 500 corporations including Boeing, Northrop Grumman and Motorola
» Participating in 14 SEI SCAMPI appraisals, of which 5 were as the SEI Certified SCAMPI A Lead Appraiser
» Designing database and software architectures for large defense, financial, law enforcement and human resource systems
» Teaching Software Engineering, Database Concepts & Implementation and Data Structures as a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Florida, University of Maryland and University of Texas

   Vince comes to PQMA with a depth of experience managing highly complex software engineering programs and projects.  He is recognized as a "turn-around specialist" for his ability to come into problem projects and quickly achieve success through building high-performing teams that solidly execute.  Vince interfaces with business, C-level executives and other stakeholders to formulate execution strategies that leverage opportunity and create alignment across the organization, thus getting value-driven results while lowering risk exposure.

   Vince holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Agile Alliance, and is working toward his certification in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University.  He also has a wealth of experience in process engineering and CMMI and has participated in SCAMPI Appraisals.

   Pete brings over 35 years experience in Computer Technology, Software Development, Quality Assurance, Software Implementation and Project Management.  He has successfully delivered business solutions to both hardware and software projects, to Fortune 500 companies.

   Pete has experience providing project tracking with key emphasis on key deliverables / resources and meeting or exceeding business unit expectations, using tools such as Work Breakdown Structure, PERT / Critical Path and Gantt Charts.  Pete has used post mortem reviews and root cause analysis to identify and resolve critical issues.  He has extensive experience identifying and managing scope / requirements using formal processes using as AGILE and SDLC, while employing informal and customized structured to semi-structured processes tailored to the business environment.  He has managed high profile projects requiring cross application teams in the areas of Quality Assurance, Enhancements Development / Management, and Production that involve multiple functions and priorities within multiple applications.

   Pete has a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Northeastern University, and has accomplished additional technical training in Aeronautical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA, General Electric Manufacturing Management Program, and PMI Institute training in Project Management.

   Partnering with our team, Gill Hathcoat adds his practical experience in coaching, consulting, CMMI Appraisals, and training to our pool of talent.  His work history spans Aviation, Aerospace, Department of Defense, Financial and Telecom industries.  Gil is multi qualified as an Organizational Change Agent, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM).  As a Process Implementation Specialist he has defined, implemented, trained and coached many organizations and projects using Agile/Scrum and other organizational and industry standard processes.
